BCS

BUILDING COMPONENT SALES
THE CHALLENGE

Amongst its industry BCS is a well-known and trusted purveyor of building, construction and industrial supplies, operating for over 40 years in Newcastle. However, with no digital presence, BCS has strongly relied on the loyalty of their customers and their reputation to keep their business going and growing. Over the years, they had also incorporated many variations of their logo, brand ambassador and tag line, meaning that they struggled to maintain a consistent brand.

In order to grow their business and attract new clientele, the challenge placed before Wild and Free Media was to create a consistent brand that could be easily promoted through both traditional and digital channels.
THE SOLUTION

With a 40 year history fraught with inconsistent logo variations, BCS needed a brand overhaul. Wild and Free Media designed a new, modern logo that stands out and proclaims who BCS is. With a streamlined icon in the shape of both a house and an upwards arrow, it is clear who BCS are and where they are going. To pay homage to the company’s history and existing customers, we revitalised the brand ambassador to complement the new logo.

With a solid brand established, Wild and Free Media set to build a digital presence to pronounce BCS’s name and presence to new and younger clients. First, we created a social media presence with a simple Facebook page and accompanying content to promote their range of products and services to their clients - like their monthly breakfast! The next step in promoting BCS digitally was to design and develop a website that is functional, clear and easy navigate for all of their clients whether on desktop or mobile.

Knowing that traditional media is still very effective in promoting the business and to showcase their professionalism, Wild and Free Media also designed and produced new business cards, letter head and email signatures for BCS. To help them stand out, we also created bold, new signage and vehicle wraps consistent with their brand.
